Includes studio portraits and snapshots of multiple generations of the family of Donaldina Cameron, with an emphasis on her Scottish antecedents. Albums contain mounted 19th century portrait photographs. Folders contain snapshots and portraits. One snapshot with caption "Alley beside 920" depicts a group of Chinese children gathered around an adult, perhaps Cameron; no other photographs document the Presbyterian Chinese Mission nor Cameron's work with the Chinese community of San Francisco. Two family group portraits and a farm scene were taken in Puente (now La Puente), Calif. in the late 19th century. Two snapshots depict scenes at a Ming Quang home under construction.
